For most people, credit card and other bills come at various times throughout the month. Most people do not have the best organization when it comes to paying bills. Keeping the envelopes in a stack on the desk or kitchen counter is not considered organized. There are a number of great ways to set up bill reminders to never miss a payment and hopefully become a bit more organized.
Most banks offer online banking that comes with the option to set up online bill payment and reminders. It only takes a few minutes to set this up, and it is extremely simple and handy. In 2011, nobody should have to write out checks to pay bills. The reminders through the bank show up on the account and can be emailed out as well.
There are also banking apps for smart phones that have similar features. With some apps, a person can see all of his accounts at once and set up email or text reminders for bills. This is a great option for a person who is always on the go.
Finally, if a person utilizes an online calendar such as Google Calendar, bill reminders can be added as an event and alerts attached to these events. Depending on when a bill is due, these reminders can be set up for several days in advance, so a person has time to transfer funds and make the payment.
All of these methods will work for a person who takes action after the reminder. For this to be successful, there needs to be follow through. Otherwise, the bill reminder is simply a nuisance.

Countless people do not know that it is possible to purchase a home without paying anything for a down payment. Investing in a home without the use of a down payment can be very useful for those who are trying to purchase investment property. This is especially useful if your intention is to flip the property. If you are interested investing in a real estate property without paying anything, continue reading.
Roll the Down Payment
It is possible for you to roll your down payment into the purchase price. A few lenders and sellers will actually let you do this. However, you should understand that rolling the down payment into the purchase price would mean that your monthly payments would be higher. That should not matter if you want to sell the property. Selling it fast will not have an effect on your bank account.
Use an Installment Plan
There are some cases when you will be able to negotiate an installment plan with the owner of the home. With an installment plan, you can just pay the owner part of the down payment each month. This will not affect the price of the home.
Transfer the Mortgage
If the seller is willing to do so, you may be able to transfer the owner’s mortgage to you. Transferring the mortgage is extremely common among homes that are facing foreclosure. The homeowner will want to sell the home as fast as possible. In cases like this, the homeowner may be willing to work with you. If you want to close this deal, you can use an assignment of contract.
Talk to Your Bank
A lot of different banks offer programs designed for those who do not want to make a down payment. These programs let you put down little to no money on the real estate purchase.

Evernote is one of the most popular note taking platforms in the world and recently the developers decided to Lionize their latest offering to Mac users by making several visual improvements so the application falls in line with the rest of the visual improvements in OSX Lion. For Mac users who have not yet updated there are several under the hood improvements, but to get the true benefit of this update, users will need to be running OSX Lion.
Brand New Look
For users who update their Evernote application, you’ll immediately notice the redesigned interface. The interface embraces how Lion has changed OSX and Evernote has taken advantage of this polish to touch up the app so it fits in beautifully with the new interface.
In addition, Evernote now has the option for users to browse the application in Full Screen mode with the simple tap of a button. The developers seem to have pulled a page from their iPad app, since the full screen mode resembles the iPad application rather remarkably. This new feature serves to bring Apple’s mobile iOS and their desktop OSX operating systems together for one unified look, which is something Apple has always prided itself in providing for the consumer.
Visual Simplicity
In addition to the new full screen mode, Evernote 3.0 also offers users the ability to hide the left panel by clicking Hide. This gives you an unobstructed view of your workspace, uncluttered and just like you wanted. A favorites bar has also been included, so you can quickly add your favorite notebooks to the top bar and access them with just the touch of a button.

If keeping track of your keys at home is a difficult task and you are a self-professed computer geek or an aficionado of such things, there is an interesting solution that utilizes Ethernet cables and RJ-45 ports. The number of ports will depend on the number of keys that one will be hanging. Once this is decided, then the ports can be mounted directly on the wall or can be mounted onto a board or other surface before attaching to the wall itself. It is important to mount this securely into the wall. It should be attached to studs directly if possible. If there are no studs where this is to be mounted, wall anchors will certainly work as well.
To organize things further, labels can be placed on the ports for each set of keys. This can be done with a label maker or can be written onto the port directly if there is space and if you have decent handwriting.
On each key ring, the end of an Ethernet plug gets attached. This can be securely tied or taped to the key ring. Different colored cables can be used to differentiate various keys and add a pop of color.
While this is not an option for everyone, someone who is looking for an extremely unique and different way to hang keys may be interested in this DIY project. Regardless, it will surely get interesting looks and comments whenever someone sees your keys or is in your house and use the RJ-45 ports mounted on the wall.

If your thinking about buying a new gadget in the near future, you may want to take a look at what you’re already carrying around today. Chances are one of them is a cellphone or smartphone. You may have a second one work. Another device may be a laptop or tablet. The point is everyone believes they have what they need, even if that means carrying a sack full of gadgets everywhere they go.
The average person carries at least 1-2 gadgets with them. One of those devices is almost guaranteed to be a cellphone of some kind. The other depends on what the first device does and doesn’t do. Case in point: the iPhone. It can do everything except load a Flash-supported website. Also, it’s only got a 3-4″ screen. For web browsing and Flash, an Android tablet would be a nice way to fill that specific void.
A person’s career can also play a role in how many devices they need. Photographers prefer to have high-end cameras with a collection of lens instead of relying on the point-and-shoot features of their smartphone and/or tablet. It all depends on what you need or want to do.
Is there a limit to the number of gadgets one person should carry? No, but most prefer to have more than one with them. If you wish to carry the least amount of stuff possible, all you have to do is make a list of the features you need and work from there. Most people won’t have to buy more than two, but some do have a legitimate reason to carry around backpacks and bags full of gadgets.
Is there a reason not to buy certain gadgets? Yes, but only because they’re considered obsolete. Beyond that, the choice is up to you.

The first moment that any Android fan gets their hands on the phone they ask themselves, “Why is Chrome not on this phone?” This has been a nagging question that has had analysts and fans alike curious over Google’s lack of cohesion between their opensource mobile operating system and their ultra-popular web browser, Chrome. After months of Google spokespeople teasing the technology community, it seems as if Chrome may be finding its way into Android phones before the year is out.
Google has been spearheading the world of opensource code for years now, and each of these two platforms are a testament to that. Chrome has Chromium, the opensource project that offers the complete code that runsChrome, to any programmers that would like to take a look at it or even dabble with the code. The same can be said of Android as it was one of the first mobile operating systems that allowed outside programmers to take a look at their code. This recent news comes from Google’s Peter Beverloo as he announced that Google’s code will be partially formatted for use in Android’s WebKit. This means that professional and amateur programmers alike will be able to begin tinkering with what may become the ground work of a mobile Chrome browser.
On top of this, Google’s Android team of developers will also release some of the code that backs their generic mobile web browser. This may seem like only a very slight step in the right direction, because it is. Luckily, due to the zealous programmers that have flocked over to the Android operating system, an entirely new ‘Chrome’ web browser could be available to the Android operating system before the the ball drops this New Years.

Twitter has become one of the most popular social networking sites on the Internet. Essentially, the site allows users to post short, 140 character status updates called “tweets” to anyone who is their friend on Twitter, also known as a “follower.” As soon as a tweet is posted, anyone who is following that user will have it appear in their timeline on the Twitter main page.
With all the additional features that are available on competing social networking sites, such as Facebook and Google+, you may be wondering why Twitter has become so popular. The main reason Twitter has become such a force on the Internet is because it is quick, convenient and people are using it to its full advantage as a promotional tool.
In fact, the promotional aspect is the most important part of using Twitter. Posting tweets gives the ability to immediately make announcements to an audience. Because many Twitter users access their followers on their mobile smartphone or tablet computer, an announcement made as a tweet can be delivered to followers as soon as it is posted. Followers will not have to be at a desktop computer to get the latest information.
Also, Twitter allows other users to “retweet” what you have just posted, which will bring your message to an even wider audience. However, apart from bringing your own messages, Twitter also allows users to “tag” you in posts they make, which can contain invaluable information and feedback. Again, the best part of this is that the feedback comes immediately, which is especially beneficial for collecting information from the people who support you.
Now that you understand how Twitter can be used, you can start efficiently using it. Plenty of success stories have been created by tweeting and your story could be next.

The National Football League has always been a league with a lot of trash talking between teams and players. This usually occurred on the field or during interviews prior to the game, but social media is changing the way members of the NFL can trash talk. Twitter allows anyone involved with the team to instantly be able to say whatever they want with little to no harm.
Prior to Twitter, players in the NFL would have to wait until they were on the field to be able to trash another team or player. This meant that they had to deal with the possibility of getting hit hard for running their mouth. Now they can hide in their house and say whatever they want to on Twitter using their phone. This is talking the toughness out of a sport that is based on toughness. Anyone can run their mouth when they are at home, it truly takes guts to trash talk another player right in front of him.
Twitter is also getting NFL players in trouble because they are not thinking before they comment on situations. Players are bashing the commissioner, Roger Goodell, for any fines or suspensions that are being handed out by the league. This eventually gets the players into more trouble with the league and ultimately gets them fined even more money. Prior to Twitter, you had time to think about what you wanted to say before you had a chance to comment on anything. This gave the player time to realize it is not a wise idea to disparage the league that you are playing for and earning a great living from. Twitter is only harming the NFL and its players by getting them into more trouble than needed, and it would be wise for players to stop using the social media tool.
